Ango means “peaceful dwelling” and is traditionally defined in Zen as a period of time set aside to devote ourselves to intensive practice and Zen training. It is a training period for senior monks, culminating in the Shuso Hossen ceremony. The Summer Ango in Torrey will announce a practice schedule that includes morning and evening zazen, Morning Service, Work Practice (Samu), Dharma Talks.
The evening sit will be open to the public during the Ango, except during retreat dates, August 7-17.
Ango Registration will open in Spring, 2019 – please check registration here https://www.twoarrowszen.org/programs-retreats/
